We are excited to host a second solo exhibition for artist Matthew Dennison. Known for his personality filled portraiture paintings of animals, Dennison shifts it up going back to his love of figurative painting. This series includes work that takes a strong narrative turn, stories waiting to be told. Within this collection he takes a serious look at our connection to place and our coexistence with the natural world. With a strong nod to nostalgia and a simpler time, Dennison portrays the delicate balance of life on the edge. The exhibition will be on view through September 9th. Stop in to meet Matthew, he’ll be present and available to answer questions about his work 5 – 8 pm.
