Mutations

I paint from an intuitive perspective. In other words I try not to think when I paint.

Ultimately what emerges are forms that come from seemingly nowhere.  While painting images, words and fragments of sentences float into my head. I practice the art of letting go, moving my awareness back into the structure, the line the composition.

It’s a balancing act.

I like to think of painting as a bridge between our internal and external landscapes representing mutations of change.
